Hi everyone. Welcome to another episode of the Bridger of Worlds podcast. I'm your host Ioannis Kokkinos. Thank you so much for joining me. If you're on YouTube watching, thank you for tuning in and if you're on one of the podcast platforms, thank you for tuning in as well.

So welcome back to another episode.

Rebranding the Podcast

If you've been following me for a while and you're following me online and on YouTube and on social media, you've probably noticed that I've rebranded. For those of you on the podcast platforms, nothing's really changed except for the podcast logo on whatever platform you're using to listen to me.

But I have decided to change up the colors, the theme, right? Like the whole look has changed for Bridger of worlds because I feel like I've shedded a little bit ever since I've been back from Crete. I didn't want to change the name because I still very much identify with Bridger of worlds and I intend on keeping the name.

But, you know, with evolution and shifts and change. You never know. But for now, the name stays. And what I want to talk about today is really kind of where I see this podcast heading.

Podcast Journey and Challenges

So it hasn't been a year yet. It'll be a year in February that I launched the Bridger of Worlds. Uh, it's been a wild journey.

I have consistently been putting out one episode a week, and as I said last week, um, in the, you know, throughout the summer season, it did challenge me combining my work, full-time work with podcasting. But I did it and I'm very proud of myself for that. So now it's winter time. I'm back in Rhodes. I have more time on my hands, and I am also working on other things as well.

And because this is kind of like a rebrand slash relaunch day per se, I also do want to present what it is I have been working on and what I will continue to be working on as I move forward and as this podcast moves forward. So obviously for me, podcasting is a way to just express like what's alive in me and just sharing about my journey, sharing about my life, sharing about things I've learned along the way.

Uh. In no way do I know everything. I have learned so much along the way as I've been podcasting, even, uh for some topics that required a bit more research, a bit more reading and really brushing up on a few things. Learning never stops, right? So even though I'm in this role, I'm in this position of teaching something, you know, offering some form of advice, I will never stop learning.

Nobody will ever really stop learning. That's what we're here to do, is to learn. But I have reached a point where I do feel ready enough because there was a readiness I was waiting for, um, uh, a, a timeliness to this part of my life. And I talked about this two episodes ago in the Crete episode about time, right?

Like sometimes we're going for something, we really want something in the moment. We keep trying and you know, it's just not happening. So that more or less, or most, most of the time, points to a certain ripening that needs to happen, a certain maturation, a certain development.

New Focus: Masculine Embodiment

So all this to say with what it is I'm, uh, talking about right now is basically I will start to tailor this podcast more towards masculine embodiment.

So like the full name of the podcast as of now is Bridger of World's: masculine embodiment and spiritual awakening. I, of course, have been talking about some themes around masculinity, you know, of energies, feminine polarity, masculine polarity. I've been talking a lot about spirituality, spiritual awakening, so like the content isn't changing.

I'm definitely gonna keep talking about mysticism, esotericism, archetypal meanings. Um, all things taboo, all things that we're not allowed to talk about, um, but tailored a bit more towards masculinity and men and male issues. Those that identify as masculine, those inside male bodies. Um. because we need, we need these spaces.

There are a lot, there are a lot of spaces already around the world available, whether it's retreats, workshops, men's circles, podcasts. There's a lot of beautiful work going on at the hands of men for other men. And because of my journey, because of my experience and what it is I learned around, especially masculine and feminine energetics, also porn addiction, my journey with male sexuality, with my, my journey with my sexuality and what it, what it means to be a man and have a male body and male energy and feminine energy and all that right? So I have also some things to say as far as these matters are concerned. So that's what the podcast will continue to be, will continue to be what it's always been. But we're gonna start focusing a bit more on just masculine themes and topics, all the while still incorporating everything that I've been talking about thus far.

Online Offerings and Social Media Changes

I also want to announce that I will be offering some form of guiding, some form of Teachership. So as of now, I am offering online offerings as far as men's work is concerned. We can work one-on-one. I'm still figuring out logistics as far as like websites and bookings and you know, and so on and so forth. But if you are interested, you can of course DM me on threads.

Also, my whole social media scene has changed a little bit. It. So it wasn't just an upgrade as far as like logo and colors and the brand is concerned. Uh, I also did a bit of a social media recycle because I feel like I was putting more energy into some outlets that were not reciprocating that energy back. So, uh, right now I'm very active on threads. I love threads. I'm very active on substack. I've just joined Substack. I think it's a fantastic platform for writers, for ceatives, for artists, um, for poets, for all things, philosophy, teaching, education, it's all there.

It's a fantastic platform and there's a lot of brilliant people on substack. So I've decided to join the party and I'm still active on Instagram because I think even though Instagram has become what it's become, I was debating whether or not to delete it because it just feels like a graveyard, uh, over there.

I know not everybody will agree with me because a lot of people are thriving on Instagram, but I do believe it's those that have, are thrived, started thriving five, 10 years ago and have just like kept up that momentum. I'm not talking about going viral or anything like that, but Instagram used to be for the creatives and the artists and it's just become something else.

But for now, I am keeping it. So you can contact me on Instagram, Threads substack. Of course, if you're on YouTube, you can send me a comment down below. And basically I will be as of now, announcing updates as far as my offerings are concerned. So right now we are going with online masculine embodiment guiding.

So we can do one session, we can do three sessions, we can do five sessions. It will include masculine, feminine polarity work, shadow work, breath work, meditation, of facilitating meditation. What it won't be is one hour of psychotherapy, right? I'm not a licensed psychotherapist. I'm not a medical doctor.

I'm not a psychiatrist. I'm not a even a, a certified life coach. This is all coming from my experience and what it is I've learned and basically offering a safe space for men in need, especially to the men that are struggling with porn. Porn use. Porn addiction, sexuality, intimacy, trust, safety, feminine energy, penile issues, erectile dysfunction, premature ejaculation, um, you know, very uncomfortable things and topics that men have a very hard time talking about, right? So we do need to offer these spaces, and I think it's important that men do it for men. It's not that women can't hold space for men, but I think because of the lack of authentic connection and the, the lack of realness and honesty amongst men is so, so prevalent in our lives, in the collective and the world. I just feel like we need as men to offer these spaces to other men to really just show up in all their truth. And feel safe. Right? Feel safe in that because we need to feel safe too as men. I know we talk about safety and the feminine energy and the feminine polarity a lot, right?

Like the feminine needs to feel safe in order to surrender. The masculine needs to hold space so the feminine can feel safe, but men need to feel safe as well. So if we're looking at it from the energetic standpoint, it's like the man who's coming for some form of guiding for some, for some form of, uh, healing.

It's basically man's feminine energy that is needing to feel safe by the masculine, which happens ideally by a, um, well-rounded practitioner that can hold the space. So. Well, I guess I'm like rambling a little bit on this episode, but it doesn't matter.

Personal Experiences and Future Plans

I just want to hop on here and just see where I'm at and what it is, uh, what's going on with Bridger of Worlds.

Um, uh, if you're listening on YouTube, you're also watching technically episode one, even though this is episode 43. Uh, I've also restarted a new YouTube page because my subscribers, uh, it's like, long story short, I hired a marketing agency thinking they were legit. I really absolutely did not want to increase my subscribers for the sake of increasing, increasing subscribers.

Uh, you know, for the number, I wanted people that would actually be interested and engaging and would love my content, and that's what I thought this marketing agency was gonna do. But they basically added like over 2000 bots from Asia onto my account, so it's completely destroyed my algorithm. It just completely destroyed engagement, uh, you know, the engagement, uh, aspect of the page.

So I decided to start from scratch, totally organic. I know there are some subscribers that we're following and we're engaging and I hope you're here now on this new YouTube page 'cause this is how we're gonna move forward. Um, as of now, as far as YouTube is concerned, for those of you on the podcast platforms, you know, if you're listening from home, from your car, from wherever.

Nothing's really changed. You know, you just keep listening, whether it's Apple or Spotify or, um, any other platform as, like I said, it's just basically the logo that's changed for you.

So I'm feeling very excited for the podcast, for my offerings. Eventually as where, as well if, you know, even I have to incorporate time, right? Like what's gonna happen with time this winter, is also start an online men's circle. So I would love to gather a group of men online. Uh, I will also try to do this here in Rhodes where I'm at because I've not tapped into the spiritual community of Rhodes just yet.

I don't know if there is one. I know there are quite a few people here that are interested in alternative modes of healing and energy therapy, meditation. Uh, and so on and so forth. But I also want to see what I can start bringing as far as offerings are concerned face to face, because it is also important for me to have that human to human contact and connection.

The online scene is great, right? It can be very, um. Um, uh, can be very easy just hopping on your laptop and, you know, starting an online group situation or one-on-one situation. But, you know, at the end of the day, we are behind the screen. And because I've spent a lot of time behind the screen. Uh, yeah, aka porn addiction.

I tend to want to avoid a lot of internet use, and it's been hard because of social media, because of like needing to promote and market and being on YouTube and, you know, being online just always, um, editing and writing and promoting podcast episodes. I've, I'm spending so much more time on my phone than I ever have.

Sometimes it's a little bit too much. So I do have some homework there as well, like for me as well. So I'm in it just as much as you, right? As I said, just because I'm here behind a mic doesn't mean I know everything. I am still learning. I'm still in this as much as you are and there's still a lot to learn but what's exciting for me is also knowing that things that I've learned, there are people out there that don't know. So that is what is exciting for me and giving me joy at this moment in time, is just sharing what it is I've learned with those that are seeking and needing what it is that I've learned.

This work is not for everybody, right? It's not for every man. It is not for every woman either, right? It really does depend on what we've been through, the traumas, the pains, the experiences, but I have spent time in communal set settings. I have gone to workshops.

I've gone to retreats. Not that many, but the ones that I've been to were very powerful or very potent. They gave me what it was that I needed and I really just got to experience beautiful human connection and when we say we do the work, quote unquote, or we think it might be really hard or as far as like emotion, you know, showing emotion or needing to like, express, expose some form of pain, some form of painful experience, it's actually, it can get quite easy and seamless when we are in a communal setting. And when we are there with people that we know are also there to heal and offer space holding and so on and so forth.

I remember my first, I think I'd mentioned, I think I might have talked about this in, um, one of the earlier episodes when I went to my first, when I started really kind of diving more into esotericism and alternative schools of thought as far as spirituality is concerned. I went to a workshop was about, it was about 40 people there.

It was a shadow work workshop in Montreal. And the facilitator went around each person, each in each circle to kind of give a small right, like really small intro, right? We're 40 people. We can't get into like our full-blown life stories, but just a small little introduction as far as why we were there and what we were like looking to, uh, get out of the, the workshop.

And. I was like, scary, excited, uh, like before, like you're gonna ride a rollercoaster, right? I had that feeling of excitement slash fear, but I'm not gonna not ride the rollercoaster. I'm gonna get on the rollercoaster, even though I'm feeling all the feels as, you know, the, as my turn was coming along the circle and I I was at that point, I was like up to here with porn addiction and like all the issues I was facing at that point, I had quit the porn. I wasn't watching porn. But it's always all the post, the post repercussion, uh, effects as far as like intimacy's concerns, uh, performance anxiety, right? Like all these issues that show up in the bedroom for people with severe porn usage and porn addiction.

A lot of very embarrassing and uncomfortable and annoying and frustrating things can happen in the bedroom, just 'cause we're wired differently. We wire we, we re, we rewire ourselves as far as sex and intimacy are concerned. Anyway, so I basically opened up about that, you know, short little thing and, uh, it was surprising, but also not surprising afterward, how many people came up to me to thank me, to hug me, to embrace me, men, women, right? Like, um, men came up to me saying they struggle with porn. They've like, thank you so much for opening up about that. Women came up to me thanking me, thank you for bringing that to the space. A lot of men don't want to talk about it. You know, and like, just something like that can be so fucking healing and liberating, right? It doesn't even have to be some deep, cathartic experience like through meditation or breath work, or any form of psychosomatic exercise.

So because I've been a part of these spaces and I've seen amazing facilitators, I've seen amazing guides and teachers doing their thing, it just feels like I'm at a point now where I am. It's my turn to offer these spaces and these containers for people that want to heal, want to speak, want to express, or seeking a safe space.

This is number one for me, is that feeling of safety, because that's one thing I've struggled with my whole life is feeling safe so nothing can get done. No emotional processing, no You know, emotional release, no, nothing, nothing can get done if we do not feel safe in our bodies and safe in, in, in our state.

So that, for me is really number one intention as far as opening up a container and allowing someone to come in to emote, to feel, to express whether it's online or face to face. Trust is everything between the practitioner and the person that comes to heal because the person that comes to heal is in an ultimate vulnerable state.

And especially if we're talking about things like sexuality and the body and just personal things , things can get very emotionally and energetically entangled and a little bit messy. So it is important for the practitioner to be in a very, very rooted, grounded, and anchored space when it comes time to

open up the container for somebody to come heal because I've also had experiences where I've seen practitioners and guides that were not rooted, were not anchored, were not solid in their energy. And it was about taking, it became an unequal energy exchange because there will be an energy exchange no matter what the situation is.

That's why it's so important for when the time comes for someone to be a practitioner, to be a guide, to be a facilitator, to have done a shit ton of shadow work. As always, there's always more to learn, right? It doesn't mean like because someone is a practitioner, a guide or facilitator is the all knowing or is like untouchable because we're all human, like we're all human beings.

I'll always have my triggers, everybody will always have their triggers, but the practitioner should be in a position to know how and where to draw lines. And that also speaks to emotional and energetic.

I guess I'm just speaking to this because I have been wanting to offer and hold space. Um, and I used to be a personal trainer, so in that, you know, that part of my life, I was holding space for my clients at the gym, right? Like they were coming to me. The content was obviously very different, but it was people that needed help and I was offering help as physical training, advice and knowledge, but right now, the topics, the themes, the subject matters much more emotionally charged, much more vulnerable, much more taboo, right? So I had to be in a position, I had to be in an energetic state where I can be ready to hold that kind of space for someone. Anyway, that's a bit of a tangent.

All this to say, for those of you who are interested to work with me, to work with a facilitator, it really does come down to trust and safety. As long as the person that needs healing, that needs guiding, that needs some form of help, feels safe and trust, then all sorts of magic and amazing things can happen with this relationship and this exchange when it comes to the facilitator and the person seeking, facilitating.
